Octavian, 44-27 BC. Denarius (Silver, 21 mm, 3.73 g, 6 h), uncertain mint in Italy (Brundisium or Rome?), 29-27 BC. Bare head of Octavian to right. Rev. IMP CAESAR Laureate facing herm placed on thunderbolt. BMC 628. Cohen 114. RIC 269a. Nicely toned and with a lovely portrait. Struck slightly off center and with a banker's mark on the obverse, otherwise, nearly very fine.
